I won't go into too much detail, but I'll just say this: More than the victims of the Zodiac's horrible crimes, it was those who researched the crimes that had their lives destroyed. They lost their wives, their children grew up without them, they were fired from their jobs, one turned to alcohol and drugs. What kind of life is that? Why do you need to know something that badly? Yes, the truth is important; but where is the line? Personally, I think Graysmith and Avery went too far. They basically ruined their lives trying to find this guy, only to have him die of a heart attack before they could arrest him. Talk about anticlimactic!
I take comfort in knowing that God will right everything upon the final day. I look forward to that day... and until then, I will rest in knowing that He is sovereign and I need hold onto nothing else.

With regard to Wikipedia.. have you ever considered how awesome it would be to write an article, then reference it in your paper? So in your footnote, you would list yourself as the author of the page.
"Actually, Mr Grieser, I *do* know this page is reliable...."
