Is there really anything more important? The start of everything there ever was was creation. And the end? A NEW creation. We are made in the likeness of our Creator. Hence, we create. Next to breathing, eating and relationships... is there anything else?

Does it matter what you create? Not particularly. Do it because you love it. Do it for others. Do it for the Creator.
Then comes the question: "How MUCH do I create?" As much as you can. There is no virtue in writing a Russian novel over a sentence. A riff is no less important than a symphony. As long as you put your all into it. Make it the best you can.

I love this post a lot.
This is so good. I've been discussing very similar topics with some of my theatre friends at Regent. I love the art of creation. :).
I see you're from Idaho. My husband spent is childhood around Boise. Anyway, it does matter what we create and how much we create. We are suppose to create what He wants us to. How much do we create? How much He tells us to. Check out my post titled "Answering His call".

Thanks, New Each Day. For the record, I agree with you. Sorry, but often I do not make my point clear enough when I write. That's my fault.
What I'm getting at is that if we are in Christ (as I am, and I assume you are from your post) than we cannot go wrong. To quote Augustine: "Love God and do as you please." Psalm 37:4 is the actual Scripture that echos the same idea.
So basically what I'm saying is that if we are in Christ and are delighting ourselves in Him, we will always create what is good, and we will always create enough. :D
